Willy Lott's House appears in John Constable's famous painting, the Hay Wain, which would have been painted from the path on the left. Willy Lott was a tenant farmer who lived in the house and died in 1849. The house stands behind Flatford Mill in Suffolk, in England. The water is part of the River Stour.
